Ammonite and Coprolite Pellets

Most people would only notice the beautiful Ancolioceras opalinoides ammonite and other ammonite fragments in this matrix. The true coprolite lover would see the rod-shaped fecal pellets just to the left of the ammonite. Modern crustaceans are known to leave fecal pellets of this type.
