Coprolite with a Listracanthus Denticle Inclusion

This small coprolite contains some interesting fish inclusions! Perhaps the most interesting of all is a Listracanthus denticle. This denticle was likely one of many feathery protrusions along the dorsal (top) of this shark-like fish. An amazing artists rendition of this animal by Christian Darken can be seen HERE.
