Composition

This coprolite is primarily phosphatic, meaning it was produced by an animal that ate meat. It also appears to have grazed on fruit since a large seed and what appears to be the remnants of a metasequoia cone are also present. We know it was deposited in sand because some of that sand is imbedded on the bottom.
