Large Scroll Fish Coprolite

This big beauty was found while searching for megalodon teeth in the coastal rivers of South Carolina. Even though it is somewhat flattened, the spiral structure is still evident. There is no way to know for sure if this came from a megalodon, but the spiral structure tells us it was produced by a large fish with a spiral valve.
