Because of its shape, the presence of what looks to be traces of burrowing activity on the surface, and the fact that it was found in the vicinity of dinosaur bone fragments, this could very well be a coprolite. Since there are no recognizable surface inclusions, it is impossible to verify this specimen was poop prior to fossilization.
